Jeff -

After reading your transcription of Carla's work on the VOTP site, I had the opportunity to meet with her a few weeks ago in Chicago. I found her Green Preservationist blog efforts virtually synonomous with my Green Restorations book, so it was great to share notes. Chicago has so much great architecture and such a an implicit need for sustainable retrofits (5 degree winter days exacerbate the issue of a leaky home). Carla is on the bleeding edge of history and energy efficiency. I was impressed by the Green Bungalow program, which Carla is associated with, and found it has many aspects that should be duplicated nationwide. Thanks to VOTP for making the unofficial introduction. I look forward to similar media on VOTP and anecdotal stories on greenpreservationist.org
